Your Safety Is Our Concern

Changes We Made

Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, Exact Tax, Inc. was working with our clients on completing their tax returns before the April 15th deadline. Tax season started on January 27th and with approximately 3 weeks away from the deadline, things suddenly changed.

On March 19th Los Angeles County went on total lock down. As an essential business, Mary Wong and her team immediately began to strategize on how to keep our staff and clients safe while continuing to provide efficient services.

For Your Safety

  • Signs posted at entrance/exit door regarding guidelines and requirements before entering our location

  • Social distancing for all staff

  • Only 2 clients in the office at a time.

  • Hand sanitizer at each work-station and a handsfree sanitizer for clients at the front desk

  • Disinfecting each desk after each client leaves.

  • Providing new or sanitized pen for each client to sign-in and use to sign their documents

  • Only one entry/exit door. Staff disinfects after a client enters or leaves

  • Providing masks and gloves to all staff

  • Staff meetings several times a week for updates on CDC guidelines, L.A. County updates on Covid-19.

  • Providing masks to clients that do not have one.

  • Exact Tax, Inc. has anti-virus and firewall to protect data

  • We use Go To Meetings to interact with clients.  Go To is secure for data sharing.

Adjusted Hours and Services

  • Reduced hours of operation due to the tax deadline extension (Monday - Friday 9:00AM-4:00PM)

  • Constant communication via Mailchimp to clients regarding Covid-19, changes in the tax return deadline, SBA Loans, stimulus check status (how to check status on the IRS website), etc.

  • Once stimulus was approved, Exact Tax assisted clients wanting to apply for SBA loan with majority being approved.

Our Staff’s Safety

Staff with elderly family members at home or underlying conditions allowed to work from home.

For Your Convenience

  • IT installed virtual software on staff laptops to work with clients remotely

  • Anti-Virus installed on all laptops.

Finally!

In these uncertain times, Mary and the staff wanted to reach out to our clients to show that we care and we will get through this together. We sent this out because we believe that if someone really cares, it needs to be personalized.

I would like to give a great shout out to my staff who have stood in the frontlines as an essential business committed to providing the services we promised our clients.

Exact Tax, Inc. would also like to thank all the first responders and medical staff that have sacrificed their lives everyday to help those who are hurting and standing in as family members who did not survive and could not be with their loved ones. Thank you for giving it your all. We salute you.
